Medical Tourism in Porta del Sol

The Puerto Rico Tourism Company (PRTC) and Puerto Rico’s Medical Tourism Corporation (CTM) joined forces to host an event to provide information and trainings to various medical service providers in the Porta de Sol region. The event took place in the Medical Center in Mayagüez and is the first event to shed light on medical tourism in this region.

New tourist route in Porta Del Sol

The Puerto Rico Tourism Company (PRTC), in collaboration with the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico, announced the launch of a new tourist route known as La Ruta Porta del Sol Sagrado. This route further promotes the Porta del Sol region, which consists of the western area of the country as a destination for cultural tourism, diverse historical sites and religious tourist attractions.
